Well, my TV also scared me pretty good after I watched The Ring.. it's quite old and when I was in bed at night it just switched on without me doing anything and showed white&black grain :0
If it hadn't done that already before I watched the movie, I guess I would have run screaming out of my room lol

I was always terrified of the 'Charlie's Dream' sequence in All Dogs go to Heaven when I was little. Thought the little goblins were gonna come after me or something.
Haven't gotten to watch The Ring yet though. Everyone says it's uber scary and you should tape it onto another tape or dvd because of some curse. o_O;

Yeah, The Ring is about a cursed video tape. After you watched it, your phone will ring and a voice tells you that you have exactly 7 days to live from now.
The funny thing is, my TV switched on at night when I watched the movie for the second time.
When I watched the first time with my father, brother and his girlfriend, also something happend; Shortly after the scene where you can see the cursed tape yourself and the phone rang in the movie, our telephone rang. So my brother paused the DVD and I went to pick up the phone. I could hear quiet background sounds but nobody answered on my questions, so I just said "Fine, it's your money anyways", shruged and put the phone down. Then like all three of them just stared at me and my brother bursted out with a "7 days!!" and everyone started laughing ¦D... actually, it was kind of scary, now that I think of it...

Heh. xD I remember a few of my friends talking about it last summer. One of their parents had bought it and they were trying to figure out a way to make sure they weren't going to die and one of them perked up "Let's send it to the people at death row! It's not like it wouldn't matter anyway."

Mean... but funny the way he said it. xD
